Help the JFIC Buy a Delivery Van

The Jamaica Foundation for Islamic Charity (JFIC) continues to reach out to the vulnerable within the community through the provision of our food baskets to the needy.
By the permission of Allah subhana wa’tala, JFIC has distributed a total of 3,169 food baskets throughout the island of Jamaica to fourteen (14) Masajid since its’ inception in October 2013 to April 13th 2019 (Tranche 128).

This is approximately over forty (40) tonnes of food transported in personal vehicles at great cost.
As such, we are in dire need of a vehicle to continue our operations. It is needed for :
- transporting purchased goods to the Bait-ul-Mal
- transporting completed food baskets from Bait-ul-Mal to Central Masjid and other drop off points in Kingston.
In addition, we would like to offer some assistance where needed to Masajid whose lack of transportation and resources result in uncollected food baskets at Central Masjid for weeks.
It is also hoped that the Van can be used as a revenue generator to raise funds for the Food Basket Program .
