6)      Masjid Al-Hisaan, West End Road, Negril

7)      Masjid Al-Hussain, Three Miles River, Westmoreland

8)      Masjid An-Nur, Port Maria, St. Mary

9)      Masjid At-Taqwaa, Newell, St. Elizabeth

10)  Masjid Ibraheem, Riversdale

At present, there are only two (2) Islamic Schools for children ages 3 – 6 years old and one (1) Preparatory School that caters from Grades 1 – 6:

  • Islaamiyah Basic School, 24 Camp Road, Kingston
  • Masjid Ar-Rahman Kindergarten School, Windsor Road, Spanish Town
  • Madrasatul Bayt Institute, Windsor Road, Spanish Town

The Jamaican Muslim community needs many additional components to support the growth of Islam in Jamaica. This includes employment opportunities, educational institutions, financial institutions, halal restaurants, dawah centers and training facilities.
